Mary King-Heilbrun, 84, passed away suddenly on Saturday March 6, 2010 in Buffalo General Hospital after a brief illness. Mary was a devoted mother and the matriarch of five generations. She was born on October 3, 1925 in St. Catharine's Ontario to the late William and Margaret (Whalen) Comeau.
Mary was employed as a supervisor at K-Mart in Norfolk, VA until her retirement in 1990. She was a resident of the Spallino Towers and attended St. Joseph Church.
Mary was predeceased by her parents, her son the late Peter King of Norfolk, VA, four sisters and four brothers all of Canada. She is survived by a daughter Patricia A. (Arthur) Fitzpatrick of Ransomville, and a son Wayne R. Heilbrun of Virginia Beach, VA., nine grandchildren, fifteen great-grandchildren, one-great-great granddaughter and many nieces and nephews.
The family will be present to receive friends Friday 3-7 PM at the SPALLINO-AMIGONE FUNERAL HOME 1300 Pine Avenue Niagara Falls, NY where Funeral Services will be follow at 7:00 PM. Friends invited.
